How many days does Visa Stamping take in Dubai?

We will deliver your completed medical card within 3 days.

In order to complete the visa stamping process, the Immigration Department requires the following documents:

  • Original passport
  • Original Employment Visa (Entry Permit)
  • Original medical certificate
  • Passport size photographs (x7)
  • Residence visa fee
  • Completed/filled security form
  • Residence visa forms, duly signed and sealed by the sponsor.

Normally, the residence visa will be stamped in the Passport within 10 days and will be valid for 2 years, 3 years if the employer is a government entity or a free zone company (free zone visa).

Dubai Residence Visa Renewal

Your residence visa will expire after 2-3 years depending on the employer and it could be renewed if both parties (the employer & the employee) agree to keep the Employer-Employee relationship. Your residence visa will also expire (or be void) if you reside outside of UAE for a period of over 6 months, you would need a visa renewal in this case. In both of the situations, the person who needs their visa renewed will, mandatorily, have to take another medical test and apply for a new Resident ID.

UAE Residence Visa Renewal Grace Period

After the expiration of the employment visa, the individual is offered a grace period of 30 days. However, it is always advised that the process begins well in-time so that no fines are enforced upon the individual.
